Supplies

White felt
Yellow felt
White thread or embroidery floss
Yellow thread or embroidery floss
Cardboard or clear plastic for template
I began by drawing a fried egg shape and yolk onto paper. For the yolk I traced around a circular toy that Rachel had.  After drawing my egg and yolk I traced them onto a piece of clear plastic for a template.
Cut out your template.
Pin your template onto 2 pieces of white felt. You could also cut out each piece of egg individually if you wish.

Pin the piece of yolk on top of one piece of egg white.
I used the applique stitch on my sewing machine for the next steps. You can either do the same or sew by hand using a blanket stitch.
Sew 3/4 around the egg yolk. When you get to about 1/4 unsewn- stuff the yolk with either a small amount of stuffing or small scraps of felt.
I stuffed mine with scraps of felt.Finish sewing yolk onto egg white.
